Nrep further strengthens capital raising capabilities with senior Investor Relations hire
Nrep, the Nordic real estate investor and innovator, makes a senior investor relations hire based out of London. Felicity Beasley, formerly a Senior Director at CBRE Global Investors EMEA, joins Nrep as a Director in the Investor Relations team.
In a move to further build upon Nrep’s successful fundraising capabilities, Felicity has been hired to expand European limited partner relationships for the firm. Nrep recently announced they are soon to have a final close of their largest fund at EUR1.9bn designed around a philosophy of making real estate better with a focus on the living, care, and logistics sectors. The fund, Nrep Nordic strategies Fund IV, which will also be the largest Nordic real estate fund, saw more than 30% of current committed capital from existing investors and welcomed over 20 new investors mainly from Europe and the US.
“Investment in the Nordic region continues to be attractive and Nrep’s clear strategic focus has proven successful with investors. We are keen to ensure we maintain the highest standards of investor care and relationships as entering the next stage of our business development. Felicity joins us with a wealth of experience across several real estate strategies, particularly in the core and core+ space, her strengths are a compliment to the existing team” says Head of Investor Relations Didde Maria Kristensen
The leading Nordic real estate investment manager Nrep has attracted global capital to the region and while times are uncertain, the relative political and economic stability of the Nordic regions, combined with a supportive welfare model, has supported investor demand.
“I firmly believe that real estate has the power to make significant changes for the good of society, both environmentally and through understanding the needs of the end user. The real estate investment management industry has for too long overlooked the very people it is set to serve. Through every part of Nrep, both internally and reflected in their investments, they consider their impact on society and create customer-centric solutions. I am proud to be part of this innovative and considerate business with a solid strategy and performance track record” says Felicity Beasley.
Over her fifteen-year career in real estate, Felicity has advised on and raised capital for real estate fund vehicles with an aggregate value of over 10bn EUR in strategies spanning all property market segments in the UK and Europe. Felicity is aligned to Nrep’s focus on creating user centric real estate delivered through Nrep’s unique and clearly branded platform operations. Felicity is a qualified chartered surveyor and an active member of the real estate industry holding a position as an operational board Director of the Investment Property Forum in the UK and as a member of the INREV Training & Education Committee.
